While most students cope successfully with life's demands, sometimes these pressures become overwhelming and unmanageable. Students might feel alone, isolated, helpless, and even hopeless. All information shared between the student and the counselor is strictly confidential. All calls and requests for information are strictly confidential. No contacts are made without the student's written permission, unless the student is a risk to himself/herself or others.

Students eligible to receive services at The Counseling Center through 365英国上市杜波依斯分校 have the right to:

- Information regarding counselor credentials and training.

Consultation
Consultations by phone or appointment are available for parents, students, faculty, staff members, or friends who wish to speak with the 校园顾问 about a student or to learn more about counseling services and referrals.
Sometimes a student or concerned other may just need some clarification regarding whether what they are experiencing is healthy and normal or represents a concern that could benefit from or require professional treatment. 了解更多信息, please call the Counseling Center at 814-375-4832 to speak with someone who can help.
NOTE: While we can talk with you about concerns for a student, due to ethical and legal requirements for confidentiality, the 校园顾问 will only be able to share specific information (i.e. 学生出勤率, issues, or treatment recommendations) if they have signed a written release consenting for that to occur.
